Ardkeragh man, Kevin Curran is taking Betsy the tractor to America.
Having completed a run from Mizen to Malin over 4 days in 2010, the group changed things up and completed the same journey in 21 hours in 2011.
So this year Betsy the 50 year old vintage tractor is taking on Route 66. All these events are fundraisers for the Irish Cancer Society and to date Kevin and his crew have raised in excess of €50,000
The challenge of driving Betsy across Route66 from LA to Chicago is again to raise funds for Cancer Research and will take place in October 2012.
